Awesome went looking for fish behind the 12 mile bank and found some nice yellowfin tuna.

Everyone on board had their turn fighting these fast predatory fish on medium tackle. The kids and the lady on board had a super time as it was the first tunas they have ever caught.

There were plenty of very happy faces back at the harbour and the good news is that the fish should still be here for the Easter weekend.

During the past few weeks we have managed quite a few very nice tuna and some small dorado. Skipjacks could be caught anywhere in that area and still provides magnifecent fun on light tackle.

Some of the commercial boats also got tuna and during the night a few cape salmon was landed. This all bodes well for the week ahead.
